Dr. Judy Wei was born in Taiwan and came to the United States at age nine. She is fluent in Chinese and speaks Spanish as well. As a mother of three beautiful children, she can personally relate to her patients. Dr. Wei is looking forward to sharing some of the most significant life moments with her patients.
Dr. Wei was ?an Assistant Professor of?Obstetrics and Gynecology?at the University of Southern ?California (USC) School of? Medicine. She earned her? medical degree and completed? her residency in Obstetrics?and Gynecology at the USC? School of Medicine. Dr. Wei? subsequently pursued a two-?year fellowship in Minimally ?Invasive Gynecologic ?Surgery at USC, specializing? in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgeries for benign gynecologic diseases with a focus on endometriosis and pelvic pain. Dr. Wei joined the USC faculty in 2012, where she taught and mentored medical students and resident physicians in the fields of obstetrics and gynecology. Furthermore, as Education Director of Minimally Invasive Surgery, Dr. Wei helped develop the minimally invasive surgery residency curriculum and trained resident and fellow physicians advanced laparoscopic skills in the classroom, animal lab and operating room settings.
Dr. Wei recently started her private practice in Orange County, offering obstetrical care and general gynecologic services, with emphasis on cutting edge minimally invasive surgical options. Dr. Wei is excited to provide comprehensive health care to her patients throughout the different transitions of their lives, from pregnancy through menopause and all the ups and downs in between.
