今天(2021-04-12)USCIS正式发布新闻说OPT可以网上申请(其实新闻发布之前就可以用了)，结合网上同学们的经历，特地赶制了这篇文章，希望对大家有用。

Release Date 04/12/2021 WASHINGTON—U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced that F-1 students seeking optional practical training (OPT) can now file Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, online if they are filing under one of these categories: (c)(3)(A) – Pre-Completion OPT; (c)(3)(B) – Post-Completion OPT; and (c)(3)(C) – 24-Month Extension of OPT for science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) students.

申请过程：
第一步： 创建帐户。注册的时候只用填邮箱，USCIS会发给你确认邮件，确认链接进去，再设置密码等。 有个Two-Step Verification Method，电话邮箱都可以。
注册USCIS帐户
第二步：选择account type: I am an applicant
第三步：填写 I765: https://www.uscis.gov/i-765

最近6个月，不要用以前申请签证用过的！

3/21 网申，当天刷卡，Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed
3/22 网申日期从3/21变成3/22，网上有电子receipt
3/27 收到纸质receipt
3/30 Card Is Being Produced!
4/1 Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service
4/5 Card Was Delivered
